The FIFA World Cup may be over but the competition continued last night at the Wynnum RSL Indoor Bowls Club Monday night event.
Monday night was the competition for the Russ Wiseman Pairs Purse which is donated by life member and Past President of the Wynnum RSL Golf Club Russell Wiseman.
The competition was a one-night round robin event with 6 pairs competing. The winning combination of Col Jones and Gordon White beat all comers to win the event.
Russ could unfortunately not attend due to illness, so the medals were presented to Col and Gordon by the Bowls Club President Maurice Williams.
