Karuah RSL Vice-President Elaine Wilson is being recognised for her incredible dedication to supporting women and children escaping domestic and family violence through Got Your Back Sista.
A survivor herself, Elaine has turned her lived experience into a powerful force for good – leading fundraising efforts at the Club, collecting essential goods and food, and helping rally the Karuah community behind this important cause.
Through Elaine’s passionate advocacy, Karuah RSL has contributed more than $32,000 to Got Your Back Sista in recent years, helping provide vital support to women and children rebuilding their lives.
Got Your Back Sista’s Susi Stewart describes Elaine as “truly one of a kind”, while Karuah RSL CEO Chris Fraser says she embodies the values of community, volunteerism and service.
