From 1976 to 2026, 50 years of mateship on the green!
🥂 Save the date, 26 to 27 September, for a Golden Jubilee Bowls Event, Black Tie Dinner, Maggie’s Market and Family Fun Day. Half a century of community, and we’re just getting started.
To help commemorate this milestone, we are creating a special historical display and are seeking photographs, memorabilia and stories from throughout the club’s history.
We’re looking for:
● Photographs of the original club at the corner of Evans Road and Beaudesert Road.
● Photos of the relocation to Ainsworth Street in 1976.
● Images of the clubhouse, bowling greens and major renovations over the years.
● Team photos, presentations and special events.
● Evans Deakin photographs and memorabilia.
● Historic transport photos connected with the club or Salisbury area.
● Newspaper articles, newsletters, trophies, uniforms, badges and any other memorabilia.
● Personal stories and memories from members, families and the local community.
If you have anything you would be willing to share (originals can be scanned and returned), we would love to hear from you.
