Blue Tree – a symbol of mental health awareness – damaged & donated solar lights stolen over the weekend

WARNING: NEGATIVE POST ❌️😡

We are incredibly disappointed by the damage and theft involving our Blue Tree at Singleton Golf Club over the weekend.

The Blue Tree stands as a symbol of mental health awareness, support and the importance of starting conversations that can make a difference in people’s lives.

One of our many generous members took it upon himself to donate solar lights to help illuminate the tree, only for these items to be stolen…
This is about more than stolen equipment. It’s about respect for our community, the generosity of our members and a cause that matters.

We will not allow this behaviour to take away from what the Blue Tree represents, so we are taking measures to protect these assets including the installation of security cameras.

To the member who generously donated and replaced these items, thank you. Your kindness and commitment to this cause are greatly appreciated by our entire club.

We ask everyone to continue supporting the Blue Tree and the important message behind it. Let’s stand together as a community and ensure its meaning remains at the heart of what we do 🩵🌳
