On Sunday our Salisbury Bowls crew got together for our staff Christmas party at Brunch with Bite — lots of laughs, good food, and a cheeky drink or two!
We were missing a couple of team members who were unwell, but we still had an awesome day celebrating the year. A big thanks to our team for all their hard work this year!!!

With the festive season in full swing, if your work team is still hunting for a spot to celebrate, we’ve got limited dates available in our function space but plenty of days open for a fun game of barefoot bowls or a drink

SALISBURY BOWLS CLUB NOVICE BOWLER DAY

Sunday, December 14th – 1:00pm

Have you ever played lawn bowls or enjoyed a few barefoot sessions and thought, “I like this game”? Now’s your chance to learn more or take your skills to the next level!

WHAT’S HAPPENING
• Non-bowlers matched with an experienced bowler on each rink
• Learn how to play and understand the nuances of the game
• Two games of 8 ends (format decided after final numbers)
• Prizes to be won plus mystery surprises
• First game starts at 1pm — please arrive early to finalise entry

Entry: $10 per person (all money goes towards prizes)
Note: Bowlers welcome — teams will be Club selected

Christmas Giving at the Salisbury Bowls Club

We’ve got something a little different under our Christmas trees this year… and it’s not just presents!

This year, we’re running a Christmas Food Drive for the Salvation Army to help support individuals and families in need.

How you can help:
Bring along any non-perishable food items — such as soups, canned veggies or fish, rice, pasta, sauces, meal kits, or even some packaged Christmas treats — and pop them in the donation box under our Christmas tree.

Donations close 11 December
This ensures everything can be delivered to the Salvation Army in time to be shared before Christmas.
Even if each person contributes just one item, it all makes a huge difference.
