🚒 Tonight at Club Bombala 🚒

Club Bombala welcomed a visit from Bombala 230 Fire & Rescue this evening as part of their pre-incident planning.

Our local Fire & Rescue team conducted a walkthrough to ensure they are fully equipped and familiar with the Club’s layout, safety measures, and evacuation procedures in the event of an emergency.

This proactive planning helps Fire & Rescue respond quickly and effectively, minimising the risk of incidents escalating and helping ensure Club Bombala can continue operating safely for our members, guests, and staff.

We thank Bombala 230 Fire & Rescue for their ongoing support and the important work they do to keep our community safe. 👏

🍽️ Position Vacant: Senior Bistro Front of House (Permanent Part-Time)

Woolley’s Bistro at Club Bombala is looking for an experienced and reliable Senior Front of House team member to join our team!

🕔 Hours: Thursday to Sunday, 5:00pm – 9:00pm
(Sundays finish at 8:30pm)

About the Role:
You’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional customer service while overseeing front of house operations in our busy bistro.

Key Responsibilities:
• Operating the till and handling transactions
• Providing excellent front of house and table service
• Supervising and supporting junior staff
• Liaising with chefs and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service

Additional Duties May Include:
• Wait service across the main bar, bistro, and functions (including auditorium events)
• Assisting with kitchen hand duties when required
• Setting up and clearing function spaces
• Taking phone orders and managing bookings
• Handling customer enquiries and resolving complaints professionally

About You:
• Strong customer service skills
• Previous hospitality experience (preferred)
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Leadership skills with a team-focused attitude
• Flexible and willing to assist across multiple areas

What a great night we had last night! 🎶

Blindsided certainly had the Club pumping, with the kids having a ball — and the adults just as much fun! The dance floor was full and the atmosphere was fantastic right through to the end.

Here’s one last photo of our “last patrons standing” at the end of a brilliant night!
