We’re now a signatory to the Women in Golf Charter – the first Sutherland Shire club to sign on ⛳

This month marked a proud moment for Woolooware Golf Club as we officially became a signatory to the Women in Golf Charter – the first Sutherland Shire club to do so.

The Charter, an initiative of Golf Australia supported by The R&A, reflects a commitment to creating a welcoming, inclusive and supportive environment where women and girls have every opportunity to enjoy, participate and thrive in golf.

While the Charter focuses on women and girls, its benefits extend to our entire club. It encourages a culture where everyone feels welcome, respected and valued—whether they are members, volunteers, staff or visitors.

For Woolooware Golf Club, becoming a signatory reflects who we are and who we aspire to be. It supports opportunities to attract new golfers, encourage women into leadership and volunteer roles, and helps ensure our club continues to grow and remain vibrant for generations to come.

This is more than simply signing a document. It is a commitment to continually looking for ways to improve the experience of everyone who walks through our doors and to ensure golf remains a game that is welcoming, inclusive and enjoyable for all.

We would like to thank our Board, management, staff and members for embracing and supporting this important initiative. Together, we are strengthening the future of our club and demonstrating that Woolooware Golf Club is a place where everyone belongs.

Celebrating 10 incredible years of Ros at the Deck Cafe – thank you for your dedication & care!

Over the weekend we got to celebrate a very special milestone — 10 incredible years of Ros at our Deck Café!

Over the past decade, Ros has been part of so many milestones, changes, celebrations and memorable moments here at LUSC. Through it all, her familiar face, friendly nature and dedication to our members and guests have made her such a valued part of our Club. For so many of our members, a visit to the Deck Café wouldn’t be quite the same without Ros behind the counter!

Ros is an absolute asset to LUSC, and we are incredibly grateful for the hard work, loyalty and care she has given to the Club over the past 10 years. From all of us at LUSC, thank you and congratulations, Ros! Here’s to an amazing decade of service and all the coffees, laughs and memories along the way 🥂

Our Member Exclusive Event was a hit, canapes, cocktails & LIVE music from Ann Woodland 🥂

WHAT A NIGHT! 🥂🦪🍸 ✨

A huge THANK YOU to all of our wonderful members who joined us last night for our Member Exclusive Event!

It was such a great evening filled with delicious canapés and fresh seafood, tasty cocktails from the bar and live entertainment from the lovely Ann Woodland.

And, in the wise words of Trevor Robb… “A margi is saltier than the ocean!” 😂 We think that might just be our new official cocktail review!

We appreciate each and every member who joined us for the evening! Nights like these are all about celebrating our members and enjoying the wonderful community we have here at LUSC.

A massive shoutout to our Head Chef Heshan for putting together an incredible spread, and our amazing Functions Coordinator Jaimee-Lee for all of her hard work in bringing the evening together 👏🏼 It was also wonderful to have our Directors Steve and April join us alongside our members!

Thank you again to everyone who came along — we hope you left with full bellies, plenty of laughs and some great memories! 🥂✨
