Christmas Giving at the Salisbury Bowls Club

We’ve got something a little different under our Christmas trees this year… and it’s not just presents!

This year, we’re running a Christmas Food Drive for the Salvation Army to help support individuals and families in need.

How you can help:
Bring along any non-perishable food items — such as soups, canned veggies or fish, rice, pasta, sauces, meal kits, or even some packaged Christmas treats — and pop them in the donation box under our Christmas tree.

Donations close 11 December
This ensures everything can be delivered to the Salvation Army in time to be shared before Christmas.
Even if each person contributes just one item, it all makes a huge difference.

Join us for our Community Christmas Fun Day & Ham-ungous Raffle on 14 December 2025!

Yesterday we hosted the Singleton Hospital Auxillary Golf Day and Luncheon with over 90 in attendance
The day was a huge success with an amazing lunch served by Rita’s Bistro Singleton, amazing raffle prizes and yummy desserts on offer!

Meet Ian Godleman, our Tour Coach for 6 years – coaches top players & loves our sunset roo crossings 🦘

Meet Ian Godleman, our Tour Coach at Twin Creeks!

He’s been with Twin Creeks for 6 years, coaching over 30 DP World / LPGA / LET Tour players, and loves the almost-daily sight of kangaroos crossing the fairways at sunset —a truly magical scene against the vibrant sky.

Fun fact: Back in 2013 at the LET French Open, Ian “infamously” pressed the wrong button on a player’s buggy. The result? Clubs, wallet, iPhone, and car keys ended up in a lake (a diver had to be called—those Koi were priceless!). Ian promptly walked off the 18th green… lesson learned!

We’re lucky to have him on the Twin Creeks team!
