It was an absolute pleasure to welcome the Casino Seniors Group to Club Evans RSL today! 🚌💙
Our visitors enjoyed morning tea before settling in for a fascinating talk from Lil Collis, who shared stories and history of Evans Head — from the war years through to our fishing and sugar industries. Some wonderful old photographs also brought back plenty of memories of childhood holidays and visits to Evans Head.
Then it was time for some music! 🎶 Brendan & Lee from The Heartbeat kept everyone entertained, with plenty of familiar songs to sing along to while our guests enjoyed lunch.
We love welcoming visiting groups to the Club and sharing a little of what makes Evans Head and the beautiful Richmond Valley such a special place.
