Well, what a weekend—bright and grand,
A gathering set on ocean’s sand.
One hundred forty came to play,
From thirty clubs, near and far away.
Across our stretch of seaside green,
A finer field has not been seen.
With swings that sang through salted air,
And friendly rivalry everywhere.
All praise to Harry, bold and true,
Who claimed the silver, shining through.
And cheers as well to those who stood
Among the winners—strong and good.
It was our joy to host you here,
With open arms and plenty of cheer.
Until we meet again, once more—
In ‘27, by this same shore.
