The South Pacific Carnival Bowls Tournament is Coming to Oak Flats!
Oak Flats Bowling Club is proud to once again be hosting part of the South Pacific Carnival for 2025, one of the Illawarra’s premier bowls events.
Taking place between Christmas and New Year, the Carnival will see bowlers from across the Illawarra and beyond come together for several days of high-quality competition and great club atmosphere.
Events hosted at Oak Flats Bowling Club:
• Sunday 28 December – Open Pairs
• Monday 29 December – Open Singles
• Tuesday 30 December – Mixed Pairs
Across the three days, we’ll welcome around 100 bowlers, with play beginning at 9:00am each day and continuing through until approximately 4:00pm. Competitors will play three games of sectional play daily, with winners progressing through to the knockout finals at Kiama Bowling Club, starting 31 December and culminating in the Grand Finals on 6 January.
This tournament has a long and proud history and continues to be a highlight on the local bowls calendar. We’re thrilled to be part of it once again and look forward to a fantastic few days of competition and camaraderie here at Oak Flats Bowling Club.
