Congratulations to our Men’s Division 3 Pennant side on winning the Region Flag 🏆
Yesterday the guys travelled to Kempsey hopeful of bringing home another flag for the Club this year.
Firstly they had to defeat Comboyne to win their section, the guys got home 75-47, in what was a tough battle.
Then the side took on a strong Kempsey Macleay RSL team on their home turf in the final, a one point during the match the North Haven side trailed by 30 shots on the big board, but the guys rallied and slowly chipped into the margin, heading into the last end of the match tied at 55 all, Jerry Janik drawing two crucial bowls and ultimately it was one of Jerry’s bowls that stayed in for the shot!
A massive achievement by the entire team, they now get the chance to play in a home State Finals held at North Haven/Lake Cathie in August.
