Today, the Shire Champion of Champions was played at Barden Ridge in very hot and humid conditions. The participating clubs were Woolooware, Cronulla, Kareela, and The Ridge.
Deb Timmins, Di Barakat, and Vicki Smith represented our women champions. They all had great games with some good scores.
Deb and Di finished third, while Vicki finished second to an 11-year-old girl from The Ridge.
Trent Smith won A Reserve, and Damien Counsel won B Grade. Jake Hallinan was narrowly beaten on a countback.
Cronulla took out the combined event.
